Julian Bray is Editor-in-Chief of TradeWinds, the shipping business news publisher which since its launch 25 years ago has become a reference point for decision makers in the industry. During a career in business journalism, he has won awards for both reporting and editing and built a track record of product innovation having lead numerous newspaper, magazine and website launches and relaunches. In addition to his specialist knowledge of maritime commerce, he has also been a Correspondent for the Reuters news agency, written for national newspapers and magazines, and made television and radio appearances. Away from the office, a love of the natural work often takes him to wild and mountainous regions to walk, cycle, climb and watch wildlife with family and friends. He also has a passionate interest in politics, culture and music.
 
Jan Dieleman

Jan Dieleman is president of Cargill’s ocean transportation business, based in Geneva, Switzerland. During his 18-year career with the company, Jan has managed multiple businesses in the U.S. and Europe. Jan joined Cargill in 1999 working as a management trainee in Amsterdam. During the next decade, Jan gained considerable experience as a trading manager across freight, grain, and energy markets. He was appointed the head of Cargill’s coal trading business in 2012 and subsequently led Cargill’s North America power and gas unit. In 2016, Jan moved into his current position as president of the ocean transportation business and also joined Cargill’s Global Corporate Risk Committee. He immediately identified sustainable shipping as a foremost priority within the ocean transportation strategy. He is currently leading his team to realize tangible progress under the United Nations framework for sustainable development. Jan is seeking to drive progress across the maritime industry, as well. In 2016, he became a non-executive director of the Carbon War Room, an organization that focuses on the decarbonization of maritime transportation. He has advocated publicly for higher standards and transformation across the industry as shipping plays an increasingly important role in a sustainable global economy. A native of the Netherlands, Jan graduated from the University of Maastricht with a master’s degree in economics, marketing, and organization.
 
Kristin Holth

Kristin has been with DNB since 1984 and after 6 years as Head of DNB Americas, she became Global Head of DNBs Shipping, Offshore & Logistics Division in 2013. DNB is one of the worlds leading Shipping, Offshore and Logistics financial institution with clients in all major segments globally, and presence in the important maritime hubs (Oslo, Bergen, London, Athens, New York and Singapore). From 1.9.2017 Kristin she was appointed Global Head of Ocean Industries Division in DNB. This new division includes Shipping, offshore, logistics, oil & gas, oilfield services and seafood, all important industries for DNB. Prior to becoming head of DNB’s Shipping, Offshore & Logistics Division, her responsibilities as head of DNB Americas included responsibilities for the Banks branches in New York and Santiago de Chile as well as Representative offices in Houston and Rio de Janeiro. Kristin has also held various management positions in DNB’s Shipping and Offshore & Logistics in Oslo, Norway and in London, UK. Kristin was examined from the Norwegian Business School (BI) in 1984.
 
Øystein Kalleklev

Mr. Kalleklev joined the Group in October 2017, after serving as Chief Financial Officer of Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers since 2013 and Chairman of the General Partner of the MLP KNOT Offshore Partners from 2015 to 2017. Previous roles include Chief Financial Officer of industrial investment company Umoe Group, Managing Director of Umoe Invest, Partner of investment bank Clarksons Platou and Business Consultant at Accenture. Mr. Kalleklev holds a MSc in Business and Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and a Bachelor in Business and Finance from Heriot-Watt University. Mr. Kalleklev was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Flex LNG Management AS in August 2018.

Even Matre Ellingsen was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of Astrup Fearnley AS on March 31st 2019 after serving as Chief Executive Officer for Fearnley Securities since 2012. Even has more than 25 years of financial services and investment banking experience as an advisor to top management and major institutional investors globally. His primary focus has been on maritime companies within oil & energy services, shipping and rig/asset heavy industries. Prior to joining Fearnley Securities in 2012, Even spent 18 years at Pareto Securities as a Director and Senior Partner. Between 2002-2004, he was Founding Managing Partner and CEO of Borea, a private investment company situated in Bergen, Norway. Even holds an MSc and MBA from The Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), and is a Certified European Financial Analyst by The Norwegian Society of Financial Analysts.
 
Ivar Myklebust

Ivar Hansson Myklebust started his career with Anders Wilhelmsen & Co in 1994 as Project Manager. He has worked in Pareto Securities as Shipping Analyst; in Nordea Markets as Head of Equity and Research and also Head of Corporate Finance Norway until 2007, when he joined D/S Norden as Chief Financial Officer. Since 2009 he has been Head of Strategy and Special Projects in Nordea, Shipping, Offshore and Oil Services until he joined Höegh Autoliners in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In December 2017, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr Myklebust holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).
